It will help in finding the best solution to organizing the archeological site as tourist destination. This paper will make it easier to decide which data to collect, which and how the collected data should be processed, as well as which areas should be covered by data collecting. After this the paper is focused on creating a suitable managing model of the site. This process will be explained by the example of Stobi. We will show the model that we came up as most suitable for further development of the site, considering the three important needs: those of the site, those of the tourists and those of the touroperators. After reading this paper it will be much easier for the reader to imply the same procedure on any other archeological site that hasn¶t been touristicly valorized, and therefore to come up with the most suitable managing model for the site. Key words: cultural tourism, archeological site, management
